If you're interested in contributing to our effort, but don’t write, there are plenty of positions available to self-determined, hardworking people on our team. Here are some of the positions we are currently looking to fill:
Street Team Manager. As the street team manager you will oversee an important aspect of our promotional campaign by managing promoters and distributing promotional materials. Only New Yorkers, Bostonians, San Franciscans, Providencians and Chicagoans need apply. Some experience needed.
Layout Assistance. Dani Deryl is a godsend, working tirelessly to compile and configure the piles of disjointed text and sporadic pictures we leave on her desk into the beautiful pages you have come to love. But despite her vast prowess, she's only one woman, and she could also use another set of hands and a new perspective to lighten her load. As a layout assistant , you will work side by side with Dani to bring our journal to fruition. Must be familiar with Adobe InDesign C2.
Camera Operator/ Editor. With the launch of PBTV this summer , we will need a staff of experienced camera operators and film editors to ensure the consistency and quality of our programs. Must have experience with digital equipment (and/or) familiarity and access to Final Cut or Final Cut Pro.
Interns. If none of these jobs look appealing or you haven't met any of the prerequisites, we are always looking for interns to help insure our operation's efficiency. As an intern , you will be called on to help with research, layout, distribution and most other aspects of our work. New Yorkers preferred.
