Mission
In relating (to you) just what we are and what we do, it is important that we first address what we (thepaperbagwriter) are not.
- We are not a literary magazine.
- We are not an arts magazine.
- We are not a political magazine.
- We are not a cultural magazine.
- We are not a fashion magazine.
- We are not a design magazine.
Take note of the following, as we have been (and continue) working to avoid such limiting classification when, in fact, we posses qualities of all of the above. We strive for multiplicity and work hard to attain quality across our work and embedded in our mission. We exist to inspire, to encourage creativity and serve as a platform for developing talent. We are an ever-growing network of young thinkers, activists, authors, artists, musicians, performers and progressives, taking cues from the old and giving birth to the new; using the seeds of the past to secure a way to the future of thinking, of writing and of expression.
